Community Involvement
Giving Back To The Communities We Serve
At Milavetz Injury Law, P.A., we’re different from fancy downtown law firms that are detached from the clients they serve. We deliberately opened office locations across the metro to reach everyday people where they live. Our lawyers not only work in these communities, but we also strive to improve them. We volunteer our time, skills, professional services and finances to a number of worthy causes, which over the years have included:
- Beyond The Yellow Ribbon, a nonprofit organization serving military members and their families
- Legal Aid, an organization that provides legal assistance for low-income people in need
- Friends of B’nai Abraham, a nonprofit dedicated to restoring the B’nai Abraham building and preserving the history of Jewish people on the Iron Range
- The St. Paul Jewish Federation, an organization dedicated to uniting, sustaining and enhancing the St. Paul-area Jewish community
- Junior Achievement of the Upper Midwest and AVID (Advancement Via Individual Determination), educational programs geared toward advancing literacy and college readiness
- Minnesota Physician and Patient Alliance, a nonprofit committed to improving the health care system
- The Merriam Park Community Council, a local organization serving the Merriam Park neighborhood in Saint Paul
One of our attorneys serves as a Hennepin County conciliation court judge, and several are arbitrators or qualified neutrals. Many are active in local bar associations and professional organizations.
