Potential Fraud Issue for Veterans

Recently I was notified of a potential fraud regarding veterans. A marketing company, although not identifying themselves as VA, but saying they can help with VA benefits, requests your PII so you can receive a Wal-Mart gift card. This matter has been reported and complaints filed. Please read the notification from the United States Department of Veterans Affairs about what is being done and what you can do if you believe you have given out your information to this company marketing company.
